Should I Go To The Dentist Or Not?
Ok heres my dilemma! I am going on holiday on Sunday to Barbados and getting married whilst I am out there so it is my honeymoon too.
Last night, I broke a bit of one of my teeth. It is on the left hand side bottom nearer the back. I had a filling in the same tooth a couple of years ago and I had real problems with it for a couple of weeks after that (pain, difficult to eat etc.). This seems to be the side of the tooth rather than the middle that has broken away. At the moment (touch wood) it does not hurt and I have tried hot and cold on it, both of which seem fine.
Do I take a chance and book in an emergency appointment to get it dealt with and risk having toothache like I had last time I had it done, or should I l just leave it as it doesn’t hurt and hope that it doesn’t start hurting while I am on holiday?

Get it sorted. It will be the law according to sod if you dont! Also if your having wedding photos you may notice it more than you think. A temporary filling may be required. Better than a broken tooth! I hope your not getting married at tooth hurty! (2. 30pm!) Good luck and congrats all round.
Go to the dentist!! It is far better to get it seen to now than take your chances and then get really bad when on holiday. Far better to get it seen and take painkillers than to need treatment abroad – may be very costly, hard to get done etc.
Just because you had probs with that tooth before, it doesn’t mean it will be the same this time. So, I would be booking the appointment.
If you are prepared to risk having toothache whilst on holiday/honeymoon then by all means dont go to dentist!
Cant imagine anything more unromantic than having toothache on honeymoon `not tonight darling I have toothache`!!!!
Personally i would rather go to dentist now, have problem sorted and if there is any pain after treatment better to be at home rather than on holiday.

If I were you, I wouldnt risk it. You may not feel any pain now but as time goes on, there could be some damage which may lead to pain. And if you are going to be gone, I would just go ahead and fix it so I wouldnt have to worry about it while on vacation
Your dentist can prescribe anti biotics for you to take with you. You have to pay £4. 50 at chemist. I have same problem, going to Jamaica then on cruise on Thurs. I did not want intrusive dental work before I go, so taking tablets just in case
You have the time to have a dentist look at you and answer this same question. By all means get a qualified answer to your question before you go.
Get it sorted! Painkillers will take the toothache pain away! You don’t want to risk permanent damage, or agonizing pain whilst on holiday!
GO NOW AS IT WILL COST A FORTUNE IF YOU NEED EMERGENCY TREATMENT ON HOLIDAY!
Don’t risk it. You want to enjoy your honeymoon. So go and get it fixed so you don’t have any weight on your shoulders.
I would check it out before you go unless you know how to find a dentist out there, I know which I would prefer
go to the dentist for sure, you dont want a sore tooth to ruin a great trip.
go to the dentist and get it fixed that way you wont have to deal with it at ur vacation and have fun!!!!!!
Your probably best off gettin it sorted before you leave.

yes u need to go because if ur teeth comes out then there is a chance of putting it back in so u won’t lose it for ever
Go to the dentist quickly so he can make an emergency “repair” and give you antibiotics if there’s an infection. Problems with teeth get much much worse when you take a plane – which I suppose you are going to. You could end up ruining your honeymoon totally and you’ll also be in a lot more pain than now.
Make an appointment asap and then. . . have a wonderful holiday! Best wishes for the future
get yourself to a dentist asap. even if it doesn’t hurt now it won’t take long for an infection to build up in the cavity. You don’t want that do you?
